Global Alloys is committed to supporting the Nuovi Orizzonti Onlus Foundation, founded by Chiara Amirante, a 54-year-old Roman who has been dedicated to her work of rehabilitating marginalized youth for over 25 years.
Our most significant contribution is to spread Chiara’s message of bringing help to the existential peripheries of young people living in situations of deep distress and generously responding to their cry for help, often stifled by the indifference of today’s society. Youth are the future of this country; let’s support them generously. Only in sharing is the fullness of humanity found.
In 2021, Chiara Amirante, Founder and President of the Nuovi Orizzonti community and consultant to two Pontifical Councils of the Holy See, received from President Sergio Mattarella the award of “Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic for her extraordinary contribution to the recovery of social marginalities and vulnerabilities and the fight against dependencies.”
MISSION
Nuovi Orizzonti is a community, now widespread in many countries, with the aim of intervening in all areas of social distress by implementing solidarity actions to support those in serious difficulty, with particular attention to the many issues affecting street youth and the youth world.
Nuovi Orizzonti also intervenes in the field of education to address a more widespread and layered form of social distress, attributable to a crisis of meaning and values. It proposes specific innovative paths and its own program of integral person reconstruction that combines psychological, human, and spiritual dimensions.
To address the numerous forms of distress and challenges in our society, the commitment of the Nuovi Orizzonti community develops in the following service areas:

VISION
We want to engage together with every person of goodwill in building the Civilization of Love, a society renewed by the strength of solidarity, a world where those who are alone, marginalized, desperate can feel welcomed, supported, loved.
