Alloy L 605 UDIMET® L 605 is a cobalt -chromium-tungsten -nickel based alloy , known for its excellent mechanical strength at high temperatures and oxidation resistance up to 1093°C (2000°F).
This alloy offers excellent resistance to sulfidation , wear and seizure , making it ideal for applications in the aerospace, gas turbine and industrial furnace industries.
Due to its mechanical strength and ability to maintain hardness even after prolonged exposure to high temperatures, Alloy L 605 is used for rings, blades and combustion chamber parts in gas turbines, as well as for internal linings of high-temperature furnaces.
