Steel 1.4460 / AISI 329 is a duplex stainless steel with an austenitic-ferritic structure, alloyed with chromium, nickel, and molybdenum, designed to provide:
• High mechanical strength.
• Good corrosion resistance in aggressive chemical environments.
• Excellent stability under high chemical and mechanical stress.
This material is also marketed under the names 10RE51 and SS44®, and is particularly suitable for high-stress applications.
• EN X3CrNiMoN27-5-2
• AISI 329
• UNS S32900
