Material Description:
1.4404 is a low carbon, molybdenum-containing austenitic stainless steel used in many applications requiring good corrosion resistance in aggressive environments. The presence of molybdenum increases resistance to attack by acids and corrosive chemicals, making it suitable for use in marine environments or in the presence of chlorides.
