Material Description: Stainless steel 1.4541 is an iron alloy with a chromium content of 17% – 19% and nickel content of 9% – 12%. It also contains a limited amount of titanium, which gives it good corrosion resistance at high temperatures. 1.4541 steel is resistant to corrosion in many environments, including water and moist air at room temperature, but also at elevated temperatures. Furthermore, it has high resistance to plastic deformation and fatigue.
