Material Description: 1.4439 stainless steel is an iron alloy containing 18% to 20% chromium, 11% to 15% nickel, and a small amount of molybdenum and manganese. This material has good corrosion resistance in many environmental conditions, including acids and aggressive chemicals. In addition, due to the presence of molybdenum, 1.4439 steel has increased resistance to corrosion in the form of crevicular corrosion and tensile corrosion. Furthermore, 1.4439 steel is often used for the manufacture of aircraft engine parts and for the production of equipment for the naval industry, thanks to its resistance to corrosion and temperature. Thanks to its resistance to crevicular corrosion and sub-tensile corrosion, this material is also used in applications where stress resistance is critical, such as in the power generation sector.
