Manufacturer qualification
17-4 PH stainless steel is characterized by high yield strength, good corrosion resistance and high wear resistance. 17-4 PH is one of the most important steels that can be hardened. It is analytically the same with the materials 1.4548 and 1.4542.
Use in a low temperature range is possible with Conditions H1150 and H1025. Excellent notched impact resistance is given even at lower temperatures.
Rolled rebar – forged, annealed, precipitation hardened in various states of supply H1150D – H900; H1025; H1075; H1150D; H1100. Also for use in aeronautics according to AMS 5643 or AM5622 incond A. and H1025, and on request treatments at H900, H950; H1000, H1050; H1110
