Global Alloys supplies the aerospace industry with specialty steels, stainless steels, nickel alloys, and light alloys that meet high standards of quality and reliability, sourcing exclusively from AS9100 and AS9120-qualified sources as required by the industry, in any desired alloy and size.
We supply materials in all forms: bars, sheets, tubes, and forgings. Cutting and heat treatment are performed according to customer specifications. Thanks to our partnerships with our represented companies, we can maintain warehouse configurations for you. The aerospace and aviation industries, as well as defense and motorsports, are characterized by a series of stringent quality specifications and approvals to ensure maximum safety. Materials must meet specific AMS (Aerospace Material Specification), MIL-T (Military Specification), SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers), or QQS (US Government Cataloging of Materials) requirements. These materials must also be produced by steel mills with appropriate qualifications.
Manufacturers also require suppliers to be qualified according to the following standards:
AN9100 – for manufacturers and/or processors
AN9120 – for distributors
Additionally, heat treatment centers, machining centers, welding centers, and laboratories are often required to comply with NADCAP.
